Contrary to what you might be tempted to believe, the Mandalorians are a completely real Delaware political party. The above image is a screenshot from the Commissioner of Elections CFRS showing the top line of the Political Committee registration information for the Mandalorians. This document is no different from the one that exists for the State Republican, Democratic, or Libertarian parties.
We have far fewer, and possibly no members compared to these established and ballot qualified parties, to the point that we do not appear on the monthly registration totals report released by the Commissioner of Elections, that will be us under "Other", but we are still a real political party and you can help us to change that. Ballot access in Delaware for the November General Elections every two years is based on registration totals. Any "minor" political party with at least "10/100 of 1% of the total number of voters" in the State can nominate candidates for public office in the partisan General Elections. This number will change by next year when the midterms take place, but for any special elections occurring this year, the number would be 744.
We are loosely a libertarian party. Explicitly NOT the worst stereotypes of a closeted racist Republican wannabe who is merely too ashamed of the GOP or wants too much to partake in cannabis use to admit it, but in general a party that believes in leaving people alone. Your rights end where my nose begins, do what you want as long as it doesn't hurt anyone, keep government small and efficient at the few things it needs to do instead of large and expensively failing to fix anything it claims it's going to fix.
As we grow, we will develop a more elaborate platform that speaks directly to the issues Delawareans face in their everyday lives, develop rules for conducting the business of the party, and engage in outreach and coalition building with other activist groups and politicians in Delaware to advance our goals, but for now, if Din Djarin would have been ok with it, we probably will be too. Wearing a helmet all the time is optional though.
This is the way. We have spoken.
